About the event: Erwin Chemerinsky, Founding Dean of UCI’s School of Law will be the featured speaker to kick off an evening of discussion and conversation surrounding the presidential debate on Wednesday, October 15. UC I VOTE Town Hall: Your Voice - Your Choice begins at 5:00 p.m. at UC Irvine’s Student Center in the Crystal Cove Auditorium.

Open to the public, the event will be moderated by James Leach, Vice President of COX Communications and sponsored by UC I VOTE, COX Communications and Associated Students of UCI. Dean Chemerinsky will discuss "What's at stake in the 2008 presidential election." Following the Dean’s remarks, the presidential debate will be viewed live. After the debate, James Leach will moderate a discussion and audience Q & A with UCI professors Carole Uhlaner - Associate Professor, Political Science School of Social Sciences and Tony Smith - Assistant Professor, Political Science School of Social Sciences.
